It might be a bit early but well... does anyone know how to map in SA? smile.gif

cheers, jools

ps - I apologize if this wasn't the proper forum, but the modding boards do not feature any 'SA' forum, so I thought this could do. Please fell free to move/close/delete this topic if I'm mistaken.

The 'main' modding forums (ie. not the ones underneath the 'Old Skool' title) have never been for a specific game. Just make any future topics there and make sure to mark your topic with the SA icon, selectable just above the 'Post New Topic' and 'Preview Post' buttons.

GET REAL!! the game has only been released just over 24 hours ago, there aren't any modding tools available for it yet, and most of the tools are made by europeans and we don't get the game released until friday. blink.gif

Well, as I've stated, I know it's very early. No need to get mad. Besides, I'm sure there's people already working on this...

Ah, TYVM! You see? Something's already out...

From Steve's site (which you kindly addressed me to):

Update: I've managed to decode the new col file format (COL3). Besides the collision mesh it also contains a simplified shadow mesh, which the engine uses to calculate the realtime shadows. Here is a comparison, using the col model of the "Bravura":

Hi,

I'm going to be starting on changing my "GTASA Ultimate Editor" to work on the PC version once i have the PC version confused.gif

GTA Community (GTASA Ultimate Editor)

But if any of you want to help me get started than i need someone to load up the program and check to see how many errors your get trying to mod the game (i dont think there will be to many).. also i was wondering if the IMG file for the PC has a DIR file or is it still at the beging of it.

W00t! Another one. I knew it, some people just can't wait. Thanks 2u2!
BTW, I'd be more than happy to test your tool, if only I already had the game. But I will as soon as the game gets in my mailbox man!
