How do you change the HUD like I want..?

I wanna change the shape of the circular radar to a box if possible so I can create a real handheld GPS texture for it, also I was hoping you could change the icon size (16x16 default of the icons like guns, hardware store, save etc.) to like 25x25 or 30x30? Cause I am working on a thing which needs this, so I thought I could ask the pros for help.

(I remember there being something of a tool to like move around buttons and stuff in the menues and I think the HUD aswell, something, cause when I replace the icons for example it says something like wrong size cryani.gif )

Wow, 37 pages! Thanks ALOT Delfi! I guess I have some reading up to do tounge.gif . I'll post here if I have problems biggrin.gif

EDIT: Uhm, meanwhile I read this (which will take a few days to fully understand heh) mabye someone can tell me how to do so that the radar icons sizes can be changed to another number then 16x16, like 25x25 or 30x30?

the texture dimensions have to be power of 2, that is:

8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 pixels.

if you use vice txd it won't let you use textures of different size than original, try txd workshop on gtatools.com smile.gif

Thanks again m8! I really needed to know that, that even mite explain a thing I tried earlier dozingoff.gif with replacing the actor skin with a 600x600 texture.

BTW awesome stuff in the link you gave earlier (aswell as your own site) blink.gif I didnt know you could do that much in VC. And some I thought was obvious, but seems there are many stuff to watch out for. Gonna read it again after school to figure out how you insert those lines to effect the game (guessing its not possible through the .scm confused.gif ). Anyway thanks again, apreciate it.
