I've noticed that for some strange reason we don't have are post count at the side of our profile when we post. Why?
Could we have it, at the side?

Also, in the Organization Recruitment Forum, all of the topics are mainly Free Anget topics.
What if you change it to this?

Organization Recruitment (For recruitment topics only)
Organization Chat (For Org Chat Topic only)
Free Agent Forum (For all the Free Agent Topics)

Wha do you think?

Both have been brought up a few times before, and both have been rejected for various reasons.

The post count thing increases spam, and is rather pointless considering you can see a member's post count by viewing their profile - only one click away.

There isn't enough gang topics to make use of the second suggestion. The forums would be fairly empty, and it works as it is.

First of all, use search, this first one was just suggested recently, and the other has been suggested before. If you want to see post counts click the members name and view their profile. I doubt that this will be changed.

As for the other thing, no changes need to be made. The recruitment section is for FAT's and gang recruitment topics, while the Gang chat area is for gang chats. If you put them together gang chats would push FAT's, and gang recruitment topics off the page. People like not having the recruitment threads cluttering up the PGC any more than it already is.

But splitting the FAT's and recruitment topics into their own sections would be a complete waste. Like Fuzzy said, that section isn't that busy as it is, splitting it in half would make two sections that are even more stagnant.
I vote no.

But searching for other members post counts will take all day!
Rather clicking on peoples profiles all day, why not just have it at the side of there post?

But Fuzzy, how is it spam to have members post count at the side of there post?

Why are you looking for other members post counts?

It's creates spam because people see their post counts going up so they post more. I'm not exactly sure, but it doesn't matter and it is not neccessary.

People see that their post count is there, and so they want it to rise.

EDIT: Damn, CLC beat me.

Well, if you care that much about other people's post count, you can spend the three seconds it takes to look at their profile. Post count isn't that important, it does not relate to the size of one's "E-penis."

And I think you misunderstood what Fuzzy Juzzy said. He never said that a post count in your post made you a spammer, he said it could increase spam. He was only echoing what the staff have said the other times this was suggested, which was something along the lines of "No, we don't want people running around trying to get higher post counts."

But I'm not staff, if they like your idea then they'll implement it. I'm just pretty sure that they won't inact either of these changes.

No offence to anyone, but: That's the stupidest/wierdest thing I've ever heard.

Ask yourself this question;

Does post count make YOU a better person?

We think not, therefore it is unimportant.

No it does not. I don't register on a Forum to get a big post count, I register to be a good member.

I got another reason why we should have it at the side.

I don't know if it's my comp, but this site is always crashing and is veeerrry slow, and that is another reason why it would take ages to view a members post count.

The site has always been hunted by server errors since the owners are not that rich, so they go for the cheapest and best.

Or so they think.

I am very sure they are getting ripped, but anyways.

When ever they fix it, it is just one click away. And nor can the admins be assed to turn it on.

That's too bad, because what the Administrators think is more important that what you think.

But, you've managed to avoid my question. What do YOU care how many posts other people have?

Sorry but what everyone's said is true, just because you may not use this feature uncorrectly by purposely posting in a bid to raise your post count higher then noob01 above you doesn't mean every noob won't do this. This place gets spammed enough as it is so we don't need anything that will even slightly influence people to spam.

If it aint broke, dont fix it.

I think that every forum should have the post count hidden as a default setting, it is brilliant.

It IS a fact that the post count stands to spam like gasoline to fire, it's been proven so many times over the years. All the delusional f***ers out there, thinking thank the post count can be seen as a sort of 'coolness ranking' (when, in fact, 99% of the times it is a 'too much spare time on my hands' indicator), will want to have the 'higher' post count (for some 'bigger the better' logic), and will therefore begin spamming like hell. I'm sorry but, NO WAY. I'm so glad that the administration here took that off, and I really can't see what good could the post counter do. Even if it does no harm, how would that actually improve the forum?

Haha, I bet my coach said that 50+ times over the season.

@topic starter: You are just lazy. You could click the profile and see the stats, and you could just use search to find the topics you want to see in recruitment.
