Due to legal reasons, applications from the USA cannot be accepted. That is all I know so far, OK?

If you haven't been accepted, but are NOT in the USA, it will either be because you're too young, or your kit isn't up to it.

I don't know. It's legal issues. That's all anyone is telling me. I think it might be something to do with different age ratings. I'm really not sure though. It may not even apply to you and your age, but it applies to someone somewhere, and it's beyond anyone around here's control.

I'm really sorry, even though it's not my fault. There is a chance that you may get accepted in the future, but I couldn't possibly say when.

Makes sense though doesn't it?

If they are going to eventually start sending games out to be Beta Tested then they'd rather send them out here seeing as they're a British company rather than paying sh*tloads just to see them shifted across to America & the chances of people sending them back would be slime to none.

Or maybe they just hate Americans.

It might be too late, sorry. I could send you the details if you want to try and register anyway. How old are you and are you in the US?

Well, I'm 14 and I live in England... Does that mean I can't play?

You're in the UK - that should make things a bit easier. I'm not too sure about your age though - that might be a problem. I'll PM you the details anyway. Thanks for your interest!

Hello, and thanks once again for registering for the HL2 Capture The
Flag testing project! We've been keeping the servers running 24/7 over
the last week now, and have managed to conduct a few tests. I hope that
those of you who have had a go at the mod have been having fun smile.gif

However, we like to have seen a few more of you online during last
week's supervised testing hours, so this week we've only organised 1
supervised testing hour, and will try to make it a big one! On
Wednesday
evening at 7-8pm UK time (8-9pm central Europe time, and 9-10pm Eastern
Europe time), we want as many of you as possible to log on to one of
the
servers, and we'll even be giving away some cool gadgets to some lucky
names. To be eligible for the prize draw, all you have to do is turn up
for the specified hour. Please check the announcements on our website
and the latest forum posts, where a confirmed bug list has now been
published.

If you have any specific questions for us or are having problems
connecting, please write back, but if you have general issues or
suggestions, please direct them to the forums so that we can share them
and our responses with the community at large. I hope to see you online
soon,

Edd aka Metalmickey

Just incase you didn't get it.

Ok this topic is turning into some pre-school bullsh*t being spouted by some teenagers that have just tasted a sensual drop of alcohol for the first time.

1) The company picks you depending on what you told them when you signed up & if they need anybody. It's simple practise, most companies do this, visit your local JobCentre to find out more about being educated.

2) The chances are they will pick people from other countries to participate in the online beta tests, but as it's a British company not some yankie doodle bullsh*tter they'll want to keep there database of members more local especially when they start sending actual video games out for the general public to test.

Please by all means Fuzz correct me, but most companies of this nature run by the above laws of practise. It's easier you see....
