Right.

Let me just put everyones minds at rest and say

YOU WILL HEAR MORE IN A FEW DAYS!
DON'T PM TO TELL ME YOU CAN'T LOG IN!

I CAN'T EITHER!!!

OK? Cool.

To explain:

We had a three day weekend due to a bank holiday - unfortunately, most of you PM'd your interest as I was leaving work on Friday - as was everyone else. I spoke to someone in the department and the applications will be processed over the next few days.

Unfortunately the test will now begin on the 6TH of June - that's next Monday. All being well, we should be downloading the mod and beginning to test next week.

Sorry if this has disappointed or inconvienienced anyone - it's not my fault. Blame someone else.

To be honest, I haven't got a clue how the PS2 thing will work - I always thought you needed a dev-kit to play copied discs - which is what I thought would be used in the test. But I guess they'll come up with something.

Again, it's not my department, I'm as much a volunteer as the rest of you.

Applications are being handled by real people not machines - and yesterday was the first day back after the weekend. There are nearly 400 applications, so like I said above - you should hear more in a few days. You might hear tomorrow.

I really don't know - as I said, it's not the department I work in - I work in testing, this is handled by creative services. I will try to find out more from them today though.

Don't worry people!

What they'll do is send them out on proper PS2 format disks i'd imagine just like Sony do to their beta testers. I doubt it'll f*ck up your PS2 in any way.

Anyway, looking forward to this should be fun. :: <')))>(

Probably not. The worst that will happen will be a game glitch that will trap the player and you will have to reset (shock! horror!).

It's more likely that the PS2 will tear up the disc, not the other way around...

Hi.

Thank you for registering. We hope you
enjoy being a part of our new online gaming community!

I apologise for the delay in contacting you all.  Unfortunately I have
been having a problem sending emails from my usual mailbox and so I
have set up this temporary gmail account.  If you want to contact me
please continue to email me (I can
still see my emails!).

Several of you have emailed to ask why you cannot access the website:
Right now we are still preparing to run the pilot project and you have
not been given access to the site yet, however we will be ready to
launch in the next few days.  This email is just to let you know that
we have your details and you do not need to take any further action at
this time.

Also, thank you for running the system profiler we provided. This now
means we know what hardware system specs your machine is running on,
which of course allows us to be more precise when analyzing the
testing of new software.  Because we have your profile this will make
it more likely that you will be selected for future PC projects.

Once again, thanks for joining our community and becoming a valued
member. We look forward to working with you on exciting projects in
the near future!

If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards.  James
