I have a PS2 that my uncle gave my that needs to be sent in to sony for their free repair, with the Disc Read Error crap. My question is, I already have a PS2 so I'll prolly sell this other one. Where's the best place to get the most cash for a used PS2? Should I give it to GameCrazy? I think they only give instore credit though. How much would you guess I can get for it?

You would be better off selling it yourself or selling it on eBay.

Sell it yourself. A lot of the major game stores will give you barely enough to buy a single game, let alone a multi-hundred dollar game console.

I agree, I think you should attempt to sell it on eBay.

Just like the others said, your best bet would be eBay or some other online shopping places. Good luck!

I disagree with the others, because there are a crapload of people selling PS2's on eBay, so you'll probally get less then at a video game store. I sold mine just last week to GameStop, and got $84 for it.

This is kind of off topic, but how much could I get for a PS2 with:

Two Controllers, one is after-market
Two Controller extender things(makes them reach farther)
An online adapter
A memory card
Socom
Matt Hoffmans Pro BMX
Lethal Skies
Lethal Skies II
GTA3
GTA: Vice City
GTA: San Andreas
Ford Racing 2

I think that's it.

I'm thinking atleast $200, but I'm not really sure.

Don't steal people's topics man. Make your own topic, or, god forbid, actually take the time to look up your own damn information. dozingoff.gif

This is kind of off topic, but how much could I get for a PS2 with:

im not an expert, infact i dont know anything about prices but this is what i would pay

Two Controllers, one is after-market - 18 bucks for the pair
Two Controller extender things(makes them reach farther) - no one needs them - 3 bucks for the pair
An online adapter - 25
A memory card - 3
Socom - 5( old game stores sell new ones for 10)
Matt Hoffmans Pro BMX - 3
Lethal Skies - wtf is this game 3
Lethal Skies II 3
GTA3 7
GTA: Vice City 10
GTA: San Andreas 25
Ford Racing 2 15
ps2 70

TOTAL = 190

I think that's it.

I'm thinking atleast $200, but I'm not really sure.

I'm sorry if anyone thought I was trying to hijack this topic, I just didn't think my question was topic worthy, especially since this one is so similar.

Why don't you just get a job and save like $10 a week toward a Playstation 3? It's not like it will be released in the next year anyways. I don't think so anyways.

I'd sell my soul for a PS3 honestly..

As for selling, Ebay is the way to go. If you can't get a good deal on Ebay, sell it at Gamestop or something (last resort).

Yeah seriously that must be your last resort. Gamespot has the sh*ttest prices.

Once I went there and saw a game with a blockbuster sticker on it that said 20 bucks and it was scribbled out with a pen and rewritten to 30 bucks.
