i hope this is where the help topics go and not in requests. ph34r.gif

i usually dont have too much trouble but i have a request im doing that involves recreating the metallica ride the lightning cover, well kinda.

i made this lightning animation so far but im getting thick black lines around each lightning strike.

each lightning frame is black with the lightning on it but supposedly all the black should have been made transperant.
the outer glow of the lightning is what i think is messing it up, im not sure.

maybe i could add the pngs frames...

instead of the black frames somehow?

imo i still have to add the logo and a border too so small filesize is a must.

any help with this would be greatly appreciated but id prefer if someone could explain to me how i should do it instead of fixing it themselves.
thanx in advance. smile.gif

Yea, I'm pretty sure it's just the outer glow on the lightning. So I would think the transparent frames would work. That's the only explaination I can think of. Sorry if I didn't really help.

Im not very good with animations but try setting the lightening layers to blend mode 'lighten'.

That usually removes dark spots around light objects.
