Somedays I'll be sitting in the office, bored as hell wondering if I've browsed the whole internet. Nothing intrigues me, and I scour the net for entertainment. Usually I end up with a flash game to keep me busy for a while, and this thread is for sharing those games that help fill a few hours of time.

Curveball

Kill Time: 30 Minutes On and Off

Probably my favorite at the moment, nothing new but it's pretty fun to play a few matches and try to get past level 9 with various strategies. For those who haven't played it, it's setup much like a 3D Pong, only you can give the ball a curve by hitting it while moving your paddle. Realistic curving gives it a good feel and is generally fun.

Tanks

Kill Time: Hour or so

Another favorite when I need to kill an hour. You can setup a bunch of computer players and theres loads of weapons to buy and upgrade to. We've all played a version of this sometime in our lives, only this one you can buy nukes and airstrikes.

So list some of your favorite games and how much time it takes in one sitting to get bored with it. ...in Mianus.

Deathstar Battles

Pretty fun game I play in computer class to kill time. You can control the amount of players/AI, and you have to set and angle and power of your shot before firing and then your shots are affected by gravity of planets and stuff. It's really quite fun and addicting.

Nanaca

I don't like anime but this game is fun. Takes a little time to get used to some of the controls.

I believe it was Knightmare who introduced me to it, so it's only fitting I reply. Probably the only Flash game that's kept me amused for longer than half an hour.

I played it for eight hours straight confused.gif

Aye, I do remember making that topic. That is another fun game, but takes a good while to beat. Luckily you can save your progress. I think I'm going to start that up again, damn you....in Mianus.

That game is frickin' awesome.

I just got down to 5000 feet, and something blew me up.... sad.gif

Can't be arsed getting all the way back down there again now. Took at least 10 mins just to dig there. wow.gif

Gas pockets. They're unavoidable, and you need max equipment to survive them. There aren't any gas pockets in minerals, so what I did was just drill through minerals and use dynamite through regular land....in Mianus.

When I'm in ICT at school and get bored, there are not many games we can go on due to the amount of sites they've blocked. But:

Stick Cricket

is pretty fun. It can get very challenging too.

Are they allowed to hit the other player in real Cricket?

Someone want to help explain the cricket game, and maybe a good team to pick?

I figured out that you hit the ball and duck when its coming for your head, but don't know the general rules....in Mianus.

I think you're just suppose to try and hit the ball really far but I'm not sure.

Mancala

Really fun board-type game, that was made into a flash game. I've gotten to the point where I can beat it on hard pretty easily, but it might be fun for some of you.

To me, it has to be Sports Heads Cards: Soccer Squad Swap. Very fun to see yourself p*ssed off when your opponent pulls a mega-strong card out of nowhere. And also, the mechanics are interesting.

Swords and Sandals 2, Bloons TD 3-5, All Raze games, RuneScape and Poptropica.

Mind you, all these can be found unblocked (for those in school :p) with the exception of RS.

There are three titles/series that come to my mind. Had fun with these when I was younger:

- Ray's life or something like that? It was a GTA clone that used the South Park looks. It wasn't actually like GTA but it told a crime story where you made your own choices. The game has two parts and ended with a cliffhanger, sadly the third part never came

- A 2D GTA clone. I have no idea what it was called. You controller a character that looked like a small ball and moved across the map. You could enter various shops, clubs, date girls, go to work and do missions. I'd appreciate if anyone knows what it's called.

- Sonic RPG. There were two Sonic RPG series and both of them were quite huge with 10 parts or so. Sadly, the final part was also never released. Game featured cameos from other games like megaman (I think) and Final Fantasy. Honestly, if it was all put into one package and pumped up a little then I'd buy it as a full game.

Speaking if sonic, there was a game where you had to babysit cream the rabbit and flirt with her. It was a f*cking pedo game and I have no idea why it existed and how it was allowed on a kids game site.
