Some lesser known films that I recommend:

Blade Runner (cool film about futuristic bounty hunter)

Memento (a thinker, well made film that's about a murder, .... backwards)

Donnie Darko (a thinker, really cool, about, well, you'll have to see it)

The Saint (suspense, action, comedy, drama, everything)

The Secret of my Success (Michael J. Fox in an interesting plot and funny)

Touching the Void (brilliant true story of mountaineering, I highly recommend)

Real Genius (good comedy about college)

Forever Young (okay to watch with family, Mel Gibson is frozen, wakes up years later and looks for his wife, Elijah Wood is young in this one)

The Outsiders (pureness like Stand By Me, about poor and rich community, with fights between the two, lots of good actors)

Frequency (intriguing plot about firefighters/policemen helping eachother)

Kelley's Heroes (excellent WWII flick about US dudes led by Clint Eastwood behind Germany's lines to steal gold held in a bank, one of best WWII movies.)

Boyz In The Hood was better. rolleyes.gif

I suggest A Clockwork Orange and Pulp Fiction. They are both great and my two favorites.

Well, what are some movies that you have seen and liked? There are tons of great movies, but it all depends on your taste. Apocalypse Now is a great movie; Pee-Wee's Big Adventure is also a great movie; it all depends on what you get most out of the movies you watch. If you're into intense films with absolute relentless violence there's Natural Born Killers; if you're more into gorgeous cinematography and emotional preformances there's The Grapes of Wrath. A trippy movie to get stoned to? Try The Wall or Waking Life. Just tell us some movies you liked- don't leave us aiming in the dark! ph34r.gif

The movie Sin City is pretty good and I think it's still in theaters.
