It's nothing too important, unless of course you actually want to view their ads.
It isn't affecting your browsing, unless of course you're constantly getting bombarded by it.
Otherwise just don't click the MSN icon to avoid the problem.

no its not serious if your that worried go into the ie6 folder and go to setup in it and reinstall

Even if you hide the advert banner the advert is still actually downloaded and displayed in an invisible IE control, so that can still occur.
