I'm pretty happy with the outcome of a tutorial I done, I know it's not the best, What do you think about it?

Considering it's damn near exactly what the tutorial image looks like, you can either take that as a compliment or an insult...

ummm, thanks I'll take that as a compliment, that's unless you think I copied and pasted it angry.gif .
I might try a cat or something and see what it looks like. smile.gif

Even though it's from a tutorial, it looks really good, so you folloewed the tutorial well. Just experiment with other animals and such using the same technique. smile.gif

I thought Tutorials were supposed to help you get better?

Rather than make something utterly rediculous.

It's making me better, even though the theme was weird, but If I try I'm sure I can apply these skills, to something much better.
I've never known what the hell masking was good for until I did this tutorial.
I'm going to do the tutorial again modifying some of the things to get a completely different outcome, then try doing the whole thing without the tutorial.

Thanks PresidentKiller

I just seen in the local brochure, Photoshop Elements for $100-$200 is that as good as Photoshop 7, I'm thinking of upgrading, but need to know what the newest in the series is.

Well, PS Elements is basically a "lite" version of Photoshop. It has a lot of features but many of the neat ones are not present (I know because I got PS Elements on my laptop).

Go for Photoshop CS. I've heard it's pretty cool.

I'm not sure if that has been released yet. I know that it will be avaliable on trials soon but I don't see anywhere on the adobe page for it yet.

Here is the Adobe page that has some info about it.
