| Some people may have thought about putting Myriad next to SanAn but there is a possibility that there will be limits again and also the fact that Myriad is set in New Jersey and not SA. |
If there are limits, then there are ways to hack them. We should at least have one of the modding possibilities open for connecting Myriad with some part of San Andreas, like having two people assigned to a lot (one to make a bridge to SA and one to make a building there for those who would like to have Myriad stand alone). I also think it would be best to coordinate some part of the mod with the team that will merge LC, VC and SA in the same game (perhaps connect Myriad to LC since it is New Jersey and LC is New York?). As I slowly start to get the hang of creating new objects for the game I will look into doing some work in this area (it will be a while before any of this happens anyway).
EDIT: Right now I am working on a large island... about 1000x1500 units in size and mountainous (it goes up to 250 units I think which is pretty high). I will probably make it a natural island with not much on it other than trees to start off. It seems that creating roads is kind of complicated looking at the original illcom .col files and seeing how the roads are made (and also seeing that Myriad is flat compared to the terrain I am working on).
Does anyone know of an efficient way to divide a large mesh into pieces here?
