If you do just want help, post your code and the problem so we can have a look.

If you're after someone to code those for you, you should be able to find all of those on HotScripts.

Uploader

Hit counters are one of the easiest PHP scripts to make, so naturally there are thousands on the web.

For polls, I recommend following fred's link.

Short and sweet. Good Luck smile.gif

I just started website design :this is my website:, I downloaded the template from www.zymic.com I have edited it abit, this is my first time at using dreamweaver, I am sortof getting the hang of how to put in this click counter thing but it is still abit confuzing, I am also trying to learn how to make a poll script too, with the uploader it doesn't look like I will be able to do that untill I get way better at this because that is just way way way to confuzing.

The best way to learn it is to not use a WYSIWYG editor.
That takes away all of the learning time you could be getting by doing all the work for you.

What?

It's best to learn how to make a page from scratch first.

Like so:

CODE

<html>
<head>
<title>The text that shows up in the title bar.</title>
</head>
<body>
The content of your page.
</body>
</html>

Just starting out with something simple and working your way up can really help.
Learn how each part of a page works and what it can do.

Sorry for the double post but I am working on making an uploader by myself for my site at the moment and I am working off this tutorial ..::here::.. and I am stuck on this bit "

QUOTE
// Where the file is going to be placed
$target_path = "uploads/";

// Add the original filename to our target path. Result is "uploads/filename.extension"
$target_path = $target_directory . basename( $_FILES['uploadedfile']['name']);

$_FILES['uploadedfile']['tmp_name']; // This is how we will get the temporary file...

if someone could help me I would be really greatful biggrin.gif thanks.

For instance, if you want to uploads to be placed in "www.yourhost.com/uploaddir", that's the path you have to fill in at "Target Path".
