Graphics: Requests and Tutorials Rules

::Intro duction::

What is this forum here for, exactly?

This forum is rather self-explanatory. Here you put all sorts of graphical requests, tutorials, and other helpful resources. This forum is here to prevent GFX:GD from becoming completely overrun with spam requests and just plain flooding the other topics out of the forum.

But why?!

Look above, jackass.

::The Rules::

- One sig request topic per author every 10 days. If you abuse the generosity of other members I'll just lock your topics and make you keep the one you got.

- No double posting. I cannot stress this enough. If nobody wanted to do your request, don't double post to bump it back up.

- Rippers will be banned. Ripping is a straight out ban, no quarrels. No matter if you didn't mean to. Point is, you should be using your own material anyway. And anyone using Photoshop or any other graphics program, should know about copyright laws.

- NO GALLERY THREADS! This means no "I'll make you a sig if you post" or "POST YUOR SIGS" threads.

If you have anything to add, please post.

ADDED AUGUST 15TH

Signature Request Format

Title: MUST BE SPECIFIC! Not just 'SIG REQUAST 4 ME LOL'. You must put in the basic style of sig you'd like. (e.g. Futuristic, grunge, GTA, etc)
Description: IN THE TOPIC DESCRIPTION, YOU MUST PUT THE SIZE OF TEH SIG YOU'D LIKE! IF YOU ARE NOT PICKY, LEAVE THIS EITHER BLANK OR WRITE 'FLEXIBLE'.

In the topic:

CODE

Name: Put your name here
Size: Put the size of sig wanted, again.

Theme: Put an extended description of the theme you want.
Resources: Post links to any logos, screenshots, or fonts you'd like.
Colors: Color scheme you'd like.

FAILURE TO USE THESE GUIDELINES WHEN POSTING A REQUEST TOPIC WILL RESULT IN A LOCKED TOPIC! You can try again in ten days, boopsie.

I love the cerb joke. biggrin.gif

Since you unpinned all of the topics that were pinned, maybe you should provide links to them in this topic, seeing as some were very helpful like Dennehy's and Dalpura's.

I'm going to repin them as soon as I run through them. Most of the links in mine/dalp's tutorial listing had all broken images, and Dennehy's had tons of 404s. It's going to take a good 2-3 hours to look through them all, but they WILL be back.

If you need any help at all checking through things. Just ask.

You should have some sort of basic rough tmeplate that could be used for people when they are requesting something.

Common sense should prevail the need for a template.

Simply describe your request well. Every detail you could think to post.

If others need more information, they'll ask you.

Fair rules, what's a ripper?

A person that takes someone elses work, and claim that they made it.
