I have a 56K modem dial-up.
I am willing to play anyone but I will need your IP if you've already created a match-up.

I took it out for security reasons.

this is my IP now 220.127.116.11
yesterday it was different. Nothing can be done with your IP realy. And if you have no security on your comp whatsoever like no AOL or no MSN or no Norton then it probably is possible but nut very likley. Besides out IP's are shown to the Mods and admins here anyway.

As for playing multiplayer, I forgot that I thought there was a pinned topic in here somewhere about it. Meh, a fresh one is probably a better idea anyway. Just use the contact details below people's signatures to instant message them and set up a game.
You might find this useful:
My Multiplayer Guide
Gives you some tips on playing multi-player, both in-game and setting it up. Also, be sure to get Illspirit's multiplayer map. Although it's a bit sparse weapons-wise, it's a killer map.

I have 128K broadband and live in the UK.
I recommend EVERYONE use Illspirits GTA2 Multiplayer Map as it's a perfect size, has some funky features, but is a bit sparse on the weapons...awesome architecture though.

I've not played anyone that has been better than me for nearly a year. Mewish is about as good, but sometimes looses his head.
I'll train you up and get you playing well. Games are more fun when you're on form than just pratting around, after all.

|I recently got a new PC, and GTA2 won't work any more. I used to sit for hours playing it, and in my opinion it is still the best GTA game. I don't know whether it is not working because my PC has a 2.8 proccesser, and it only needs a 0.1 or something, or it doesn't like Windows XP. Probably both. Does any1 have any patches for this torture..?|
Try reading the info already available to you. And let dieing threads die in peace.

Plus I'd quite like to play multiplayer that isn't full of bugs like MTAVC is!
(EDIT) I've re-installed GTA2 now and have already had a game with someone, so it's working correctly.

| Who wants to play me and teos, and can also host. We each have routers so we can't play together.|
Contact me VIA MSN.

There are methods to solving the router sensitivity that GTA2 has. Mewish had a lot of trouble overcoming it, but he managed to after about two days! He's the person to ask to solve it, I'd suggest.
Apart from that, grab me on MSN and we'll see if it works. My connection is remarkably trouble-free; I've never been the side that a game has failed on because I've got such a simple setup.
