I spotted this online a little while ago... I'm not saying to make your's into a ragtop but I do like the roof line on this car. It would be cool to just do it like this, but lower it down over the wheels more and strip the front and rear bumpers off it. Leave the grill red, and do the wheels red as well, just leave some baby moon caps over the center of the wheel. More then less like whats already pictured.
A flat primer gray color or flat black would look good on it.

Anyway thats my suggestions, some custom paint might be cool. But I can't really see anything other then scallops or some nice pinstripe work on this car. I dunno about flames.

A "Rat Rod" is a traditional hot rod or a budget hot rod, they are similar to the first hot rods that were made in the late 40īs and in the 50īs.

A "Hot Rod" is more 60īs and modern style hot rods,

but you can call both of the "styles" for Hot Rod if you like, beacause 50-40 years ago everyone said Hot Rod,

Personally i like "Rat Rods" best

Thanx for all the comments. I should have an update for everyone tonight.

I might be pretty busy though, as I have embarked on a half life 2 mod.

never heard of a red ram hemi, anyways the car is coming along nicely, but i think it needs to be wider.

Red Ram was the old style hemi....kind of like the 392, except the 392 was for chrysler, and the Red Ram was for Dodge. Back then, Desoto, Chrysler, and Dodge had their own hemi's. All of them were different.

Yeah, now the wheels look better. I appreciate your work, the car is looking very smooth so far. Keep it up. I want to have another good replacement for normal Hermes (your previous one is for Cuban Hermes).

It seems to me like that grill should have a bit more of a peak to it at the front of the car. It just looks to rounded off to me when I compare it to pictures I have seen of this car.

I could be wrong though... but I don't think I am. tounge.gif

People have said the grill needs to be tilted back, but I'm not sure about peaking. Let me find a pic that shows it without the hood...

This one is going to be without a hood, so I beleve the top of the grill should be flat. Here's another pic:

Alright, after seeing the second pic it looks like you have it right.

btw, I ment a peak in the middle of the grill at the front. I thought that it needed to stick out more. Like I said though it looks like your right on.

i think you should texture that grill instead of modeling it,sometimes textures look even more cleaner compared to very closely modeled things(like grills fro example.)
