I'm working on my entry, except with the current deadline I wont be able to finish it in time, perhaps extend the deadline to the end of the month. I still mightn't finish it but it will have alot more on it.

an extension to the deadline would be good for me too, i was just about to post my official withdrawal due to lack of time, but if you extend it i will have a chance of still finishing my entry...................

If the deadline was changed, that's fine by me. I'd just like to know to 'when', 'cause in one of the rules it stated that you couldn't supply something until that date.

okay, quick recap: from what I've read here and the PM GT-1 send me, this is how I think it goes:

at April 30 at 12 am you have to:
-upload your 3ds Max file somewhere and PM GT-1 where he can get it.
-post renders here in this topic for the judges (not sure how many renders)

About the entry:
-Absolutly no using any free models or bought models for anything this includes interiors it must all be modeled on your own
-Can be buiding with landscape
-Can be more than 1 building aslong as they fit together
- poly limit : 20k no HIGHER

OKay, it's been about a month since this flea circus started. When do we get to see some fleas?

I'd offer to be a judge, but with Activision throwing overtime at me (busting ass to get the summer releases ready to ship) I dunno if I'd have the time.

Hi, its a shame this contest has seemed to have died. But nevertheless I'm working on a building called "Stunt Palace", which is essentially full of ramps. So far I've modelled the front entrance and the walls of the front. This building is likely to be about 5 stories tall (with tall ceilings to allow for high jumps within the interior) and also has underground tunnels and chambers. The back yard of this Palace will also contain a nice dual halfpipe with nice transfers. Below are pics of the front of the Stunt Palace:

Geometry is a little hard to define in these screenshots. This problem will be rectified after textures are added.
Im looking forward to seeing other modellers progress.

i dont think the contest has died, just that everybodys keeping
there model's top secret i think.. (isn't that correct contestant's)
i can show a picture if anyones interested. ive spent a whole 1hour on it
on the firstday he he been busy , on my mod .
ive given a sneak preview to someone already . anyways here's what im doing

Okay then. I've send my 3ds to GT-1.

This is called the 'fool's guild'. I've made it for my GTAM mod. (wich seems to be in permanent coma for now.)

Actually, mine is fairly low poly. I had it ingame for my GTAM mod. It's about the size of a block of houses in vc.

its a shame to here that jason as my money was on you takin this comp maybe opius or gforce now anyways heres my entry could only get 50% done but i will enter it anyway :-

Atleast if I enter I get the satisfaction of knowing I tried and had an honest go. My entry is far from complete. 20% complete at max but meh. I hope it's not too late to enter blush.gif

Poly Count: 15,121 Sorry, real poly count is actually 12763, I forgot to remove some crap, namely the player and car models used to test scaling. Yeah it's alot, but it is still in early development and it will drop alot by the end.
