greetings

Season nine of southpark is finally going to start very soon, so heres a topic to discuss the new episodes, and post pictures of sexy shellfish things if you wish. Season 8 was allright I guess, but not a patch on seasons 4-6, that was the peak. Lets hope season nine tickles our funnybones eh.

In the ninth season, one of the citizens of South Park undergoes a sex change operation, Butters sees dead people and Cartman takes on his lifelong enemies...hippies!

Lemmiwinks never made his reappearance like Matt and Trey promised last season. Perhaps he'll make his comeback in season 9.

Call me old-school, but seasons 2-3 were the peak. Not that they were much more than an extra glinto n a bright light, every season is tiptop (save perhaps the first few episodes, before the humor got a little more subtle.).

I really hope this isn't the last season like some have claimed. sad.gif

Matt and Trey are already signed on for a 10th season and they've stated that they might even do more than that.

@pcj1200: Kenny was killed off "for good" at the end of season 5 (episode 513 - "Kenny Dies" originally aired Dec 5, 2001). He returned at the very end of the next season's Christmas episode (617 - "Red Sleigh Down")

Oh crap, season 9 is already about to begin?!?!

Damn you Suprnova, come back.

Me needs comedy central.

Up in Canadia, on "The Comedy Network", we will either get the epsidoes 1/2 a year late, or a week or two late. I have my fingers crossed.

One of my favorites is the "Woodland Critter Christmas." The one where Stan goes to the forest and meets a bunch of cute animals.......that worship satan. Then they end up giving birth to the antichrist and Stan has to teach the mountain lions how to give an abortion.

Another favorite of mine is the one where they're all stranded on a bus that's about to fall off the cliff. They all remember past events, just ending them differently.

I thought tonight's episode sucked. Mr(s). Garrison was more obnoxious than funny and most of the humor came from shock value. The negroplasty and dolphinoplasty surgeries were classic though.

I was slightly disappointed with this episode. They've been building up Cartman's hate for Hippies so long that I don't think they could have delivered the expectations.

I did like the part about the Mayor killing herself only to show up later with a bandage on her head with blood coming out of the entrance and exit wounds.

Slightly better than last week's. I liked the Armageddon parody and the whole cliche with the black guy always sacrificing himself in movies whenever the entire crew runs into trouble.

Stan's dad: Somebody's going to have to go outside and activate the backup boosters.

Cartman: No, Chef, I'm not going to let you go out there!

Chef: I didn't volunteer!

Cartman: Alright, fine, Chef, go!

South Park is the best show on T.V. other than Family Guy...I love both of those shows.South Park is in my sig right now because it has new episodes running and Family Guy doesnt.I have loved both new episodes that have some out for South Park so far.Cartman is the best character ever on T.V.

Damn I didn't notice, haha.

I want to say this new season is top-notch and breathtakingly hilarious, but it is mediocre at best. confused.gif Disappointing for such a long-awaited new season...
