but they should still try to please their entire audience, not just the 11 year olds who look forward to getting a 80hp car and gluing 100 pounds of plastic to it. its like wiping before you sh*t, it doesnt make sense. all they would really have to do is hire any american car lover for a month to tell them what many north americans want.

And since when has Gran Turismo been about ricing cars? The most you can do is add useful wings to certain production cars which actually help with downforce. PD is Japanese so what the hell do you expect? They could of been total snobs and not included anything other than Japanese cars but they included some of the majorilly known American cars.

Wouldn't have done him any good since you're in the US.

I wonder how long it will take to get 100% on GT4, i have had GT3 for over 2 years and still haven't completed it 100% (99.0% at the moment), and i think i have played GT3 more than any other game on the the PS2. I am stuck on that stupid complex strings map, you have to get round it in under 10 minutes, me and my friend spent days trying it and only got round it in 12 minutes mad.gif .

I also have GT Concept and only need to do the licence tracks to complete it, but they are really anoying, i done one of them (the one where you win the Skyling concept race car) and i forgot to save it angry.gif , can't be bothered to do it again. Does anyone know if there is a cheat (or cheat device) to get all licence tracks 100%?

I think if you have done the Licence tracks on GT4 Prologue you can use the savegame to complete those certain tracks on GT4, Thank god i kept my savegame or i will have to spend hours doing it again. I used a cheat DVD to complete the licence tracks on GT3 biggrin.gif , hope theres one for GT4.

Nope there are no cheats to GT4 or any GT, exept if you use "game shark"

If you have prolouge and have finished the licences, then you dont need to do licence A and B on GT4. And im not sure if you also get some extra money, i think so.

The time has come, its here! xmas.gif (soon)

I'm sick of doing licenses period.

If I would've known that Prologue takes away from having to re-do the license tests, I would've bought it.

Even if I get it in two weeks, I'll only be allowed to play one hour a month due to bad grades.

They got their shipments in at local EBGames/BB/CC here. Not opening them til midnight, apparently. Just like Halo.

/me thinks about last midnight release event he went to. *shudders*

...but how could they have missed the dodge challenger and daytona. or the 1970 pontiac firebird, or late 70s trans ams. those were important cars. i mean they have the pontiac vibe for f*cks sake. what would you rather drive, the banditmobile or the soccermommobile

Just this past weekend we saw a Vibe down at our local street races. Me & my buddy just started laughing when this older dude asked us if we wanted to go. I don't know if they come stock the way he had his Vibe but that thing handed us our ass and won 2 outta 5 runs with a very fast Integra.

Anyways, I'm psyched about GT4 finally being released. I almost wet myself the other night when I saw the commercial. I had started thinking it was never gonna come out. I was pissed at first about the online play evaporating but I'm still gonna buy it. I can pick up any of the older versions and have as much fun playing today as the day they came out.

They have some cheezy looking wheel for 10 bucks if you preorder it at toys-r-us. I've never played with a wheel but I'm thinking of getting it. tounge2.gif

Lucky "US" people, they can buy the game now, but EU people still need to wait 2 weeks.
Hopefully the time running away, but i think these 2weeks will be the longest 2weeks in my life cryani.gif lol

i lucky that i preorder my GT4, because its already full preordered at most of the shops/stores where i live bored.gif , exept where they sell Gt4 more expensive.

Who knows?

Here in Denmark, even when SA was released, there was like 5-6 people in line in the local 'Game' shop, the morning of the European release, when I went to get it.

I doubt it'll be sold out around here, too.

I don't think a working night stops anyone from making a pit stop on their way home.

Good for you. Kaz is a perfectionist, and the Online function wasn't working satisfactionaly, so they killed it off. Understandable. Their vision was to create a whole community of car and motorsport enthusiasts to engage in high-quality chat and competetion.

Apparently you're not part of the target group. Go play NFSU2 online. Pff.

Just to straighten the talk about release dates up, IGN says March 9th for the EU release.
