i had a play with the generic lines for the pool but i could only get the following code to work for me, i think we're hitting some placement limits for certain objects, there definitely seems to be issue's when adding more "1280, parkbench1" placements, this is one of the reasons i gave up with the generic line conversions for all the lots confused.gif

There seems to be a massive duplication in illcomNE.ipl. Search
CODE

and delete every line from there to

The exact same lines are seen near the bottom of the file. This will temporarily help with the random crash when adding a lot of IPL lines.

I think I have found what causes a crash when adding too much IPL lines. There seems to be a limit on the amount of objects, defined in the object.dat, that can be added into the IPL files. I think Sacky is making a fix for this problem.

Well school will be over in a few weeks so I might come back to finish what I was doing during the winter break. I just finished making a somewhat boring first mission driving a truck to a destination.

One last thing before I head back to school. Open seabed.ide and you see a bunch of useless entries. All of those weren't deleted by the old version of the Map Cleaner.

Open gta3.img and find beach04b_sv.dff. Delete everything from beach04b_sv.dff to seabed9.col, a total of 318 files deleted.

I haven't totally tested this out but the game loaded without a crash so this technique of saving more space should be fine.
