I fully agree, no more shoddy texturing, not that there ever was any in Myriad. wow.gif

Hey I'm new to myriad, just got a lot. Catching up, so sorry if this is an old bump. What exactly am I seeing in the first post? Are we just being clear that things need actual texture mapping and good unwrapping and edge setting instead of basic pattern mapping, or are we seeing above something more? Thanks if anyone can catch me up, I want to be as knowledgable as I can before setting out on my uber industrial addition smile.gif

Make sure stuff has appropriately dirty edges and general grime over the whole object, rather than a simple tiled texture, which would make it look as if it was built 5 seconds ago.

Also, and I can't emphasize this enough, LOOK at how R* textures. When do they tile, when don't they tile, how do they break patterns, how do they re-use the same texture, what's the detail level of their textures on different parts,....
Best advice I could give you is to just look and see how it's done before...
