It's got two 3ds Max lights for prelighting.

Prelighting. It's a long story so I won't repeat it here...
Without at least some prelighting, you lot will appear very dark in game.
If you read through this forum, you'll find everything you need to know.

personally i think the topic title should be changed to "Lot Request's and Map Design"........... general layout discussion.

discussion generates creativity and fluidity in design, and we need somewhere to discuss the general layout of the entire map and that includes GTI.

Ok, perfect! I use 3Ds Max 8.

Some questions:

1) The buildings and objects must be attached with terrain to make an unique 3D model?
2) If yes, I start to create objects from the terrain or separately and then I attach they to the lot?

@ Cran: I'd really like you to take of Yeti off the map untill he has shown previous work. ( I haven't got anything against Yeti, I'm just worried 'cause we're talking about quite a bit of land here).

I'd also like to mention that, since you're in charge of the map, you might consider to contact SR or a mod around here to replace the map in the first post. I'm sick of scrolling through this topic looking for the last updated map.

@AlexG: I think the best way to make a lot is to make building separately, then stick em in the same file as your lot, then landscpare the lot properly, like deleting the grass off it, making a proper go at the ground. Too many people have just stuck buildings onto the grass, and it's kinda obvious. Since when have you seen a skyscraper sat on top of a pile of grass?
