It's fine though, that is if he wants it to keep it SA style since a lot of SA buildings don't have indented windows.

Alot of buildings in SA have indented windows, just not too noticeable, this looks like gta 3 style (Nothing wrong with it though)

I've started indenting windows and protruding window ledges etc. And I'm not a 'he' lol

Right now it's to pass the time. Think I'll just be adding them into the existing game unless I make enough for a little village or so.

Right now it's to pass the time. Think I'll just be adding them into the existing game unless I make enough for a little village or so.

 

 

If you're thinking about doing a village, let me know because I got a bunch of buildings just laying around that never got used for anything you could probably use.

That's appreciated, as previously stated and urged I've started doing some work on making the windows '3D' in a way, you can see the new side versus the original design sort of in this picture. Until it's all done and has shadows I guess it kinda looks crap right now.

It is 'proper' textures though? They're from SA. What do you mean?

Well I mean if you want something really good looking, custom textures are the way to go, unless you are aiming for default SA quality,

Yeah R* quality would do. If I knew how to extract from V I would try. Can't do custom cause I'm not good at 2D design etc.

If I were you, I would get the blue part of the long building more in line with the rest of the building. Like instead of there being indents between the bay windows and the windows lining up with the ground story, the indents between the windows should actually be the same as the ground story and have the bay windows stick out, like they do in real life. Basically, imagine if the windows were built onto the building as opposed to into the building.

 

Also fix the scale of the buildings, assuming the figure is the same size as a GTA character.

Thanks for the advice, I've done as you said with the windows etc now, I also think I've fixed the scale yes? I'm not 100% sure what the problem was with it in the first place if I'm honest.

I would make the intersection look more proper without the double line going through it and add some space on the side of the street for parallel parking, but that's just peanuts compared to the buildings. Nice work so far!

Have a bit of worry, that R* is already making San Fierro as Update, then the work will be for nothing.

Man, this is gorgeous! Keep working, I want to see the end result.
One question: This is addon?

 

right now, i dont tryed to convert the full Model.

I made some parts of the Gant Bridge to one Mesh and imported it to check the Scale.

So later, the Model will be splitted in about 6 Objects i think

Right now, i only replaced it with a Street.

When GTA V becomes a good Map Editor like Med, then i will start to place my Objects outside from Los Santos

 

 

Maybe later i will connect it with a surrounding Countryside and Highways to Los Santos.

But this will take some time, it is really hard to model the Golden Gate Bridge itself.

I need to watch documentarys, look at pictures etc.. to understand the Construction of this Bridge.

 

But i think the Gant Bridge and the Garver Bridge (Bay Bridge) will be the hardest thinks of whole San Fierro to model.

So i will be glad if i finishing it

 

But I dont want to promise to much now.

 

When i think i can show more, then i will make an extra Topic for this Project.

 

But nice to see a guy who is interested in my project ^^
