the dirt track thing you show me is kickstart isnt it?

Dirt Track & Kickstart are at the same stadium. The signs outside never change, but if you enter the marker on Monday or Wednesday it'll be Dirt Track and on any other day it'll be Kickstart.

The easiest way is to steal a Packer, which you should see driving around Ocean Docks, then park it so you can ride up the ramp of the truck and do a small bunny hop to collect that hoop. You can get it by riding up and down the half pipe ramp a few times then leaning forward on the bike but this can be a bit tricky so the Packer is highly recommended.

That is false. Getting at least a bronze in each test is what you need to make the percent completed stat go up.

Anyone who actually tries to get 100% completion in GTA seriously needs to get a life... Yes, Grand Theft Auto is an amazing game, but you shouldn't base your whole existence around it. Get outside and see the world beyond your mom's basement. Trust me, it's amazing!

Umm, you are saying it as if it takes a life time to get 100%. It rook me like a week and I think there are people out there who have done it in less.

Also if you have enough skill, I have managed to get enough speed coming down from the other side of the pipe, and bunny hopping up to it. Gillies method would be your best bet because this might take some practice.

Nope. Once you pass them once, you're fine. The special mission-style names on those two schools is just there to confuse you. wink.gif

Oh cool, thanks. I would also like to know how much percentage you get when you get all the oysters? I'm at 98.40% and all I have to do is End Of The Line mission.

There are 187 different tasks which count towards % completion; there's a link in the first post to Craig Kostelecky's list of these tasks. Each one gives you approximately 0.53%, so you have exactly 3 things left to do. End of the Line will count as 1 of those things (98.93%) and if you still have the oysters, that's another (99.47%) leaving one task left.

This seems an excellent time to debut something I've been toying with; Craig Kostelecky put together a 99.47% checklist to help people pinpoint what's left when they are down to just one thing remaining; it's posted earlier in this thread. Recently I mentioned to him that I wanted to take that list and organize it by the easiest verification methods and he thought it was a good idea so here it is. It should apply to all versions/platforms; feel free to PM me if you have corrections or suggestions.

CODE
Craig Kostelecky's 99.47% SA Checklist, modified by pdescobar & arranged by
how each task can be verified in-game. Note, if you play on the PC version,
your best bet is to use the San Andreas Mission Analyzer (SAMA) program
which you can get from http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=220426
However, if you are on a console or for some reason can't use SAMA and you
are looking for that one last thing to do, this list should help you find it.

[ ] Boat School  VERIFY: Enter school marker and check for bronze in all tests
[ ] Bike School  VERIFY: Enter school marker and check for bronze in all tests
[ ] "Breaking the Bank at Caligula's" Mission
VERIFY: The Croupier outfit is in the Special section of your wardrobe, and
the 4 Nightvision Goggles pickups are available; the one in Madd Dogg's
Mansion (near the kitchen) is probably the easiest to locate.
[ ] "End of the Line" Mission  VERIFY: Riots no longer occuring in Los Santos
Note, for "End of the Line", if you have used the Peds Riot cheat, this may
not be a foolproof verification method. To further verify, make sure you
control at least 35% of the Gang Territory (Gang section of Stats) and walk
around outside on foot. If there is no marker in front of Sweet's house and
you don't get a phone call from him, the mission is probably passed. It is
also generally easy to remember doing given the length & complexity.
Another option: Listen to WCTR. If you get the final news report which talks
about the mission and ends with the phrase "the end and a new beginning"
then you've passed End of the Line.

VI. Items which cannot be easily verified but can be redone
[ ] Learn Moves at Ganton Gym, LS.
[ ] Learn Moves at Cobra Marital Arts Gym, SF.
[ ] Learn Moves at Below the Belt Gym, LV.
[ ] Freight Train - Level 2
[ ] Chiliad Challenge

EDIT, 6 July 2006: reworded safehouse entry and added End of the Line radio bit. Left the gyms as-is because while srg is right that you can narrow it down by watching your fighting moves, they are difficult to describe to someone in a short text file like this, so I think the simplest solution is to just redo all three since they are short and pretty easy.
EDIT, 9 Dec 2007: added secondary verification for "level-based" side jobs.

Um, I just wanted to know how much percentage I get when I collect all oysters. But anywho, before I collected them all, my percentage was 98.40%. When I got the last oyster, there's no message that popped up. I even checked the locations a few times by using the SAM map and I found no more oysters. I checked my percentage in the stats screen and it's still 98.40%. I did everything except for buying one safehouse and not doing End Of The Line mission yet. OMG please help. sad.gif

EDIT: I bought the safehouse and I got 98.93%.

I told you; you get about 0.53% (sometimes 0.54% because of rounding) for every necessary task. This includes the oysters. Since you are now at 98.93%, you have exactly two tasks remaining. "End of the Line" and something else. I also told you how to verify you have all of the oysters. Pause the game, to to the Stats screen, select Achievements, scroll down, and you will see "Oysters Collected." Does it say "50 out of 50" under that?

If it does say 50 out of 50, you have gotten all the oysters and you're missing something else. That something else is either the "Los Desperados" mission or something on the 99.47% checklist and by going through the verifications you should be able to figure out what that thing is.

If it does not say 50 out of 50, you still have more oysters to get. Regardless, once you complete that task you 'll go to 99.47% and then "End of the Line" will make 100%.

151 out of 50? Have you checked VERY CAREFULLY the comprehensive verification list PD outlined? Assuming nos. I to V are all accomplished, check carefully no. VI. That shouldn't be difficult to do.

I've checked the list. I've learned the gyms twice already. But for VI, do I really have to do the Chilliad Challenges again? I've completed that before but it that was probably one of the hardest side missions I've ver done. But I guess I'll try to do the Freight missions again.

Well if those are what might be preventing you from getting 100%, assuming you've checked carefully the other items and have confirmed that you completed them already, you don't have any other choice but to redo the Chilliad Challenge and Freight missions.

As far as I can remember, if you've done both levels already, once you redo the mission, Level 1 would appear again and then level 2 just like when you did it the first time. If it's only level 1 that you've done, then Level 2 would appear when you redo the mission. Thing is, it doesn't register in your stat that's why you won't have an idea if one or both of the levels have been accomplished already. As for the gym moves, you can have an idea of which moves you have done already. Try to attack any ped with bare hands and see which move CJ uses. In PS2, if you press R1 and triangle and CJ punches with some straight punches and upper cuts, then he has learned the LS gym moves. If he does some mostly kick moves with a roundhouse one, then he has done the SF gym moves. If he grabs the head and knee kicks (?), he has done the LV gym moves. If you can tell this way which of the gym moves has been learnt already, that narrows down then to only two gym moves that you have to redo.

Completion of 'Big Smoke' is not required for 'BMX Challenge', neither is 'Cleaning the Hood' required for Tagging side mission.

Because you did NOT do everything on the list. Maybe you did at some point in your life, but maybe it was a different quest, or you reloaded without retracing your steps at one point, etc.

You're only missing one thing to do. Check out this post by PD Escobar. He reorganized my 99.47% list so it's easier for you to check to see what you're missing.

I know this is an old topic, but you can tell if you've done the frieght missions because if you press triangle at one of the passenger cars, and get a free ride, you've completed both missions. tounge.gif

I finally managed to get 100%, but the Rhino and the Hydra don't appear in Grove Street (I read somewhere that you get them after completing 100%). Also I didn't recieve 1.000.000 dollars, but I do have infinite ammo (the bullets shot "re-enter" in the reserve clips).

I think it may be because I did the freight train two missions after "End of the line". Is that the cause? I did EVERYTHING before that last mission, but forgot to do the train missions. Is it true that you get the Hydra and the Rhino parked in Grove? And the million dollars? Do you recieve anything else?

The order you do things in shouldn't matter. If you have a lot of money you may not have noticed the extra money being added. There are a few other things that happen when you get 100 percent completion, there is a list in this post by Craig Kostelecky a few pages back in this topic.

The vehicles might not spawn straight away when you go outside, or so I have heard because they always did spawn straight away for me. Try driving a few blocks down the road and coming back to see if they show up.
