How can u make cars faster??

now, her is your answere:

1. Open the file handlig.cfg in you datafolder.

2. U can see many lines of cars

This is an example of the blista compact:

BLISTA 1900.0 2.1 5.5 1.9 0.0 0.0 0.2 70 0.8 0.75 0.54 5 170.0 20.0 F P 7.0 0.65 0 30.0 1.4 0.11 0.2 0.8 20000 0.25 -0.15 0.5 0.0 2 0 1

The blue number is weight of the car

The red is the max. speed of the car

The green number is the accelleration of the car

And the purple F means Forwheeldrive

U can use an 4 too...Thats fourwheeldrive

And u can use an R...That's rearwheeldrive

Good luck wink.gif

Who more numbers of this line know can post that in this topic smile.gif

Why is this thread titled "[VC]Fast weagons, How can u make weagons faster??"?

That would imply that it is a tutorial to make weapons faster in some way. Yet the tutorial is on how to make cars faster. wink.gif

You'll find much better tutorials than this about handling.CFG on my website. I think everyone already knows how to set high acceleration values. There's so much commenting in that file which tells you what everything does you only need tutorials for advanced setups. Making a car faster isn't an advanced modification, imho.

Editing handling.cfg with notepad is pointless - why not use CarEd?

It's not like there's an advantage to modifying it manually. (Or is there?)

Alright, who left the crackpipe where the kids could get to it?

1- Go with Cerbera on this one, for real.

2- Renegade has it right- F is for Front wheel drive

3- Kitteh, please tell me you're kidding about Notepad, right? Don't let Dem see this, or he'll write a book about the benefits of Notepad.
Anyway, most of the stat editors fark up the flags backwards.

Thanks GM, I've got a new slogan now:

FlagStudio - it won't fark up your flags backward.

I'd also recommend my Rescaler for calculating the suspension values. Glad you had a look at the site, Eclipse. This is now (and probably always was) more of an Editing Discussion thread than a Tutorial, though.

A little update for your 'tutorial':

BLISTA 1900.0 2.1 5.5 1.9 0.0 0.0 0.2 70 0.8 0.75 0.54 5 170.0 20.0 F P 7.0 0.65 0 30.0 1.4 0.11 0.2 0.8 20000 0.25 -0.15 0.5 0.0 2 0 1

0.25 = Position of the wheels. When you set it too 0.10, your car becomes a 'lowrider'
