Some good news for GTA fans, i know there are a couple knocking around here somewhere.....

QUOTE
Remember DMA Design's seminal (if controversial) original Grand Theft Auto, first released in 1997? Well we already knew that a version of this classic was being developed by Rockstar for the GBA, but what we didn't know was that it isn't a port at all, rather a new game entirely.
Plenty of the much vaunted 'sandbox' gameplay will star, and industry experts are already predicting a rush on the GBA coinciding with GTA's pre-Christmas release. Whilst an isometric, top-down view will once again be used as in the original, a brand new story will hold the game together - making the new title highly desirable to the long-running series many fans.

Linkage.

I figured as much. Not very exiting to port a PS1 game made in 1997, now is it? confused.gif

Isometric! There must be some mistake. How the hell can you see what's going on in iso view with all those buildings in the city. Unless they don't plan on having them.

Yes. It's top down.

Do you know the difference between top down and isometric?

Yea i liked the earliest screens Rockstar released for this game and they weren't in isometric view and this is sad to see. This will sell very much thouch because of its new story line.

Isometric = Tony Hawk GBA Games

Good news, though. All I ever play on my GBA are the Mario games, this'll give me something new to do on long car trips.

I would have thought this to be big enough news for the likes of IGN and gamespot to pick up on sly.gif

I'll believe it when i see it on one of the big sites, although by then the PSP will be around the corner so there will be no point in GBA for me dontgetit.gif

Too little too late
