I just changed the forum header so it's loaded from an external html file using an iFrame. It *should* display properly in all browsers made after, oh, 1998, just thought I'd run a poll to check. If it doesn't load, or looks screwy, please let us know what the problem is.

Yes... BUT!
There's no border, and on the GTANetLite skin at least, it looks a little weird, with one shade of blue fading into another.

That is all.

Added a white border, and threw in a scrolling=auto. Does it look better now?

IT works.

But, could you please make the size a litle smaller. It's painfull for many scrolling fingers.

Thats one thing I was gonna say but I was going to ask you to put a picture up there because it gives it a more friendly feel. I say keep it the way it is looks professional. smile.gif

It works here in IE6sp1 on WinXPsp1 Home. Doesn't even push out the right hand edge in small browser windows before standard Invision stuff does. smile.gif

GTAnet 2k4 lite has a lot of missing borders and wrongly layered tables carried forward from all the faults in the full 2k4 version.

If you look at the top of the page you will see a picture with some writing below this acts as the forum header and it on ever page within this Myriad forum. You must have noticed it..

Is there a "Yes but its too damn big." option? With all thoser pinned topics we already have to scroll down 3 miles to see the posts.

Okay, now, it should be displaying different pictures depending on the time of day. Still not sure if it's using server time or local user time though, but, erm, yea.

Hmmmm, the thing is kinda big, isn't it? If anyone's up to making some smaller banners, it could be changed. ATM, there's 5 images- early morning, mid morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The number can be changed easy enough if need be. Up to one per hour if anyone's feeling industrious...

Might be because of the skin, btw nice pics whoever made them Ive seen two of them now. Very nice, maybe slightly big but making them alot smaller would spoil it.

The oldschool skin won't work with any headers. That goes for NYCC private forum too btw. Please fix, this 2k4 thing burns my eyes confused.gif

edit: name of skin is original gtaforums official

Works fine most of the time. About every 1/10 view it shows the forums index in the iframe instead of the header.

Also, can the header be removed when you're on the posting page?

Working on a smaller banner as well. Photoshop is acting up and wont let me open or make new things.

EDIT:

Why not just reduce the size of the current one.
