Your browser is probably caching the older version, as it's in the same location with the same name. Try deleting your temporary internet files.

Excellent work Opius, this version is far better than the previous versions, les bugs, more buildings and interiors and LODs. Fits is well and is modelled well. But what happened to Opius Designs? Also would you mind telling em the total poly count, im curious as to what it is. Good work again smile.gif

Yay its about time this was updated, nice work Opius smile.gif

Emm I've got a problem, I followed the instructions for already having the beta 2 and when I load up the game all I get is a see-through version of the entire lot ie. the col's are all working but the models and textures are missing.

I agree Opius design should come back or at least in a shop window. As you say its final(ish) ill comment on a few things.
This is not a problem jus something that stands out, the white lines in the parking spaces are too bright and wouldnt maybe look better if they looked aolder maybe slightly worn. They look too clean, but thats upto you to decde to change if you want because its nothing really.
The texture on the part with the balcony looks great when you are close up but from far looks strange.
The base land has a black line running all the way around as if its not positioned perfect next to the lots surrounding it.
I still had a texture missing going down to the sewer, also but thats not a big problem either.

Overall the layout just got even better, like you said to me before it just fell into place. Now you can fall into the sewer its a bit strange but its GTA so nice one I like that. Very nice work Opius.

Btw, does this fit the PLS? Looks like it does but have no other lots to check against.

Yeah I rebuilt the image file but its probably due to my Myriad install being quite screwed and I honestly can't be bothered reintalling it at the moment.

Ok forget I said anything, I've got it working perfectly and so you can expect some screenshots from me. I am not sure what I did wrong but I went back and deleted all files from the gta3.img that started with opie and then added all the new files and bingo.

On the stairs down into the sewer i still get white untextured sides.... the steps are fine.Plus theres 1 floating chair upstairs which is easily deleted.

After 2 mins in Moo mapper this is Opius' lot on the left and sadistic's commericail district on the right and they look very similar you can really tell any difference where they are joined, its only very slight have a look. Picture:

Opius is doing the coding for the online gun store and parked cars and all that for his lot.

@ Gforce, if it looks like GTA3FREAK has a lot pre-lit in his game its not its just because he has the brightness turned up to full. tounge.gif

i downloaded thhis thing few minutes after release, and done a manual install with my
latest version of data tool biggrin.gif no bugs so far (in the tool) but i seen chairs standing in
air in the former "rapers" building.

Nice work, Opius, but you forgot to define proper surface types in the col files (e.g. grass doesn't act like grass). Also, cull zones are missing.

Yes trust me its not pre-lit, my monitor is quite srewing and so I need the brightness up full for it to look decent to me and as you can see it can decieve when I take the screenshot.

Wow this is surely a much better lot than your old one and i only have two errors, the stairs and poles have no textures and on the top room, there is a floating chair, anyways great job, ill put some good pics of it in my screenshots topic sometime-BCspeed34 biggrin.gif
