There are 3 seperate versions that replace the hotring, hotrina, and hotrinb each has a different sponser or livery.

I've tried it out in-game now. Because of the thiness of F1 bodys there are a lot of clipping problems but they don't detract much from what is an excellent model. The texturing on the mechanical parts, such as the rear suspension/gearbox unit is outstanding. smile.gif

I found the handling too pointy, even for an F1 car. I love how the brakes and throttle have such an impact on the balance of the car, you can use the brake during the corner just like Michael Schumacher does. I also liked how the car gained and lost grip but there's just too much grip there. I've altered it to use a 1.25 multi rather than 1.50 and the traction loss is now 0.95 instead of 1.00, which retains the balance shifting and such.

Here's the promo shot I got, which I'll use on my site:

I've re-done the flags for it. Now uses: 1G_BOOST, NO_DOORS, NOWSING_BOOT, DBL_EXUAST and IS_LOW.

IS_LOW makes the player fit in the car better, DBL exhaust makes both exhaust pipes have exhaust plumes.
I had forgotten what an utter blast it was driving around Vice. I miss GTA! I miss it so much!! God bless my mum for letting me on the home PC. inlove.gif

Musta have missed this updae before, I noticed a few things on the new Tokyo version of the car. On the back of the wing it has some texture problems with textures flicking through, some of the images look pixelated instead of been smooth and the col file doesnt take note of the wheels which always end up in the ground when im driving.

Texture problems were explained in my post.

I've had no problem with the wheels, even when I didn't install the new COL file. You can get them inside stuff but only if you really try hard. Wheels have thier own collision point so they should not feature in the vehicle's COL. The thinness of the body means making a complete COL would be very tricky, although altering it to completely "sandwich" the suspension pieces might be worth doing, as you wouldn't have to make each suspension strut and fill it with tiny spheres. You'd just have a row of smallish spheres between a row faces above and below the suspension area.

Now the IS_LOW flag is set, the cockpit area really needs to be re-wibbled to fit the player animation better. The car is missing some of the front section of the cockpit, as well as the forward "tongue" of the undertray which sticks forward towards the front axle.
