car name: Corporate (just because my c3_r11 lot features microsoft corp. office hq)

work in progress..

user posted image

needs door _dam versions and a little texture fixes (like door interior edge)
the car on pic doesn't have "speca" yet, but i made one already
and looks nice in-game, the pic is older early version..

basicly.. it is a 4-door car, replaces manana..
it is generic car like admiral for missions
where you need more than 1 passenger seat..

the handling is obscure - you can nicely slide into 90 corner at 250km/h..
and the suspension is very soft but extremely stable.

also the bonnet is hinged from nose not windscreen like most cars,
it also opens properly when damages, i rotated object and dummy axes..

test version soon..

What about Microsh*t? or Microshift? or Microslip?
Whatever.

The car looks good, the handeling sounds nice.

Nice start and a nice addition to Myriad. Needs VC textures though + a proper handling. 250km/h seems a bit too much to me for a Dodge Neon wink.gif

the normals don't need any fixing, as i said - it doesn't have speca on this screenshoot
and it IS body textured..

overall pic that proves that normals are all correct (plus speca map):

and the car is body textured, and it is even double this size (i resized it for the internet)

and cut that sh*t with microsoft, it will be named massivesoft like they named it in RA2: yuri's revenge.

Dam never saw this topic before. Looks quite good so far Delfi but there are a few things I nticed, all the cars so far bar I think 1 maybe 2 have VC interiors, they are VC textured (they have that dirty mucky texture on them, this is too clean) and the light textures are VC ones are have been made to look similar to them.
But the model looks quite clean so far, whats the polycount?

Keep on topic also this is sicussion of the car nothing else.

Thanks GT-1

choose a car to replace, import it, and use its materials.

that way the textures, glass, etc will all match with other cars.

also the normals around the rear wheel arch and back bumper area look bad.

Megahard.

I'm not really liking the textures on that. If people are mistaking your textures for uncalculated normals, then you've got a problem.

And yeah, yo need to texture your car to look like the VC ones, but it's looking good so far.

- the car uses no vice-city recycled car parts
- not even textures
- okay, i'll redo the body texture biggrin.gif

polycound of all _hi_ok parts + chassis: 2807 polys.

Lack of VC texturing. It looks too clean compared to the other rides.

The interior looked strange for some reason in the second picture maybe it was the inside of the doors and they look too realistic, but actually it all looks ok.

Keep up the great work.

Very nice. If you still think the interior is crap, you could always just steal one from a Vice car and make it fit.
Looking forward to it.

That is all.
