There are some GTA3 things I want to import into VC for the Gotham City total conversion mod that would really make it amazing, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it for some reason. Even if someone wanted to do the conversion for me, I could tell them exactly which model and texture files (there are only maybe 6) then move them to the proper location myself in MooMapper. Anyone?

I don't know if i'm the only one who would like to see a tutorial about this, but i post it anyway.
I want to edit the particle.cfg, but i just don't get wjat values to change.
I hope someone can explain this in a tutorial.

The make a DFF you need to export it as a DFF from either 3ds Max or zmod. If you don't have DFF as an export option in Max then you need to download the RW exporter. You can make a TXD from scratch using Steve's TXD Builder available on his page. Refer to my alpha tut for more detail and links:

Extract the TXD and DFF from the GTA3 IMG file and add them to the VC IMG file and then place it in the game with moomapper. Use The COL editor to extract the COL file which will be located in the COL file with the same name as the IPL you found it in. In VC simply add that COL file to the IMG file.

Cause when i edit or just simply remap the texture of ex the cop... Then i get some error in Zmodeler telling me that there is a loop detected in the Hierarchy. And the when i export... the file won't work in the game.. or just crashes.. Dunno what "Loop Detected" is.. So i wondered if anyone had a good tutorial how to import-- alter-- and export a original dff file from the game ?..
btw! The player model is working... Just not the models of the AI ( cop. paramedic, fireman, people.....ect)

I've read heaps of tutorials on Moo Mapper etc but they are all concerning adding custom items to a map and basic use of moo mapper which is of no help.
Could you please write a tutorial on how to do this and how to set the demensions of the land mass. Or point me to one that has already been written.
