on the message at the top of this forum it says there a Myriad Islands Beta Installer 2.0 but the link dosent work

Then the official installer will more than likely be updated so that the new Islands will come as standard along with the usual variety of new lots, new vehicles, data files etc.

There's a few tutorials in the Tutorial forum.
But I would recommend to start using this one first, Sketchup building tutorial part one. This one learns you how to make buildings with Sketchup and Zmodeler.

just a few comments on myriad islands.
its a cool download but it could do with a few things more helicopters a stunt park (i know you said that you werent gonna put one in but hey just one small one some where wouldnt hurt).
a few more missions too.
i know its still W.I.P. but it has a lot of potential maybe some day make it available for online play.
hope this helps the mods cool and hope you keep adding stuff too it as it could become a great mod.

Myriad Islands is a modification. It's basicly removing all of SA and replacing it with our own work.

Yes. With it being a modification of the original game you need the original game installed for it to operate correctly.

Isn't it about time for a first-post update around here, taking into consideration recent contributions from aad (GTI kick-starter), AleXXX, Cran and myself, the welcome 'return' of Gforce and there's no mention of how much work is going into the MI train system (hats off to all of you).
Just a thought.
If it's pinned, it should be maintained.

and it took us several hour's of trawling "ALL" the older topics right the way through, although i still get the feeling that someone important is missing from the list
my personal intention was to use 1 of the intro video slots as a contributor video (a little like the SA intro contributor/team list intro) given that the list is so long and the previously used endscreen outro is way too fast to use with the SA engine, unfortunately my intro video creation skills are completely pre-n00b standard
