Me too. Forgot to say that I made all models mysef, and all textures were real life pictures. Project was made in 3dsm 4.2.

Won't be like the sims if you put a roof on it (I think. I never played any 3D sims).

Will it have textures ?

Of course it will have textures. I already started texturing. The chairs, 1 pc, the tv, a little carpeting, and more.

I'm guessing its going to be 4 weeks ntil the whole thing is done. blush.gif

The detail here is fascincating. I hope it doesn't choke systems.

Good, that you talk about this...

My opinion is to use single interieurs for different locations, so we can have more then 18 locations with interieur. If you go to an interieur, e.g. 17 all DFFs with No 17 as 3rd entry in the IPL will be shown, but interieur must have no large viewdistance and only the interieur near the player will be shown, this will save polygones on interieur 0 (outside) and gives us more room for building highdetailed objects.

Decay: Keep on, good work. But texture your objects before you copie them. You will become mad on texturing 14 computer one after the other smile.gif

Its got an extremly high poly count already. About 25,000. Thats gonna create some future probs.

So far, theres no requirements, since I havent even tried to install it into VC.

@ ODIE- I forgot to texture the pc and copy afterwards when I did that. Theres no way in hell im going to retexture every pc by hand. turn.gif

I counted 23 chairs, 6 stools, and something like 12 computers.. You know you could just make one of each of those objects, and then just place them around the room with a mapper. Much easier imo. Good job though on the detail.

And the thing is...it's not really neccesery. If those polys were used on a theme park with big rides or something, then it would suffice, but it's a umm....classroom. tounge.gif Most of us come here to shake off our hard schoolwork for the day, only to play in a classroom ingame? And to top it off the game'll lag too because of it?? lol

Maybe you should rely more heavily on textures, because we have to recognize the difference between cad modelling and video game modelling. wink.gif

I know its high poly. Im gonna see if RK can still somehow fit it into VC without it lagging. Im not making it for VC anyway, its a project my teacher @ school gave me.

I have an updated screenie somewhere, but can't find it.
And for some reason, my project won't open in 3dsm right now. It says it cant open it for some odd reason.

Anyhow, Im creating a variety of things right now, including a mini game, very, very, similar to ODIE's duck shooting game, except its with gophers.

Im also creating a very high detal office builing with an accessible walkway, fountains, etc. smile.gif

Yes and No.

For some reason, my classroom wont ope in 3dsm anymore. Eh, I cant use it anyway, its to high poly. It'll lag way to much.

Rk and I are currently making a complete grocery store. No pic or anything though. Its going to be finished within a couple days. colgate.gif

The gopher is probably no longer going to be used anywhere.

and thats about it for right now. confused.gif
