Myriad Islands Centralized Download Centre


Welocme to the Myriad Islands Download Centre here you will will all of the lots avaliable for download. Firstly you you have to have the Essebtial Downloads, these are all needed. You can download the base land and lots which make up the first island. You can find the vehicles up for Download here. All downloads make up the final Myriad Islands. It is highly recommended that you d/l ALL files to create the best effect for Myriad Islands.

Speaking of files, here's my latest version of paths.ipl: download. The roads in this one are finished, and I added a bunch of new ped paths using Ehsan-de-Burge's new Path Editor. The peds still need lots of prodding, I just thought I'd at least post this now so everyone can have proper traffic. Was gonna make a topic for this, but I suppose I'll just drop it off here whilst pinning this topic. wink.gif

ODIE: Except for the COL file, did you change or add anything ? I have this problem "getting" Snow Racer's statements.

edit: Snow Racer: If you use illspirits new road paths from 27. november, you get less crashes no matter what scm you use.

Ill, how did you do the freeway route? I just ran the nodes down the middle and had it as simple two-way traffic because I wasn't able to research getting two lanes to travel in the same direction before my dad intervened. Did you do yours the same way as me or did you do it properly?
Also, did you work out the junction syntax and do the lights automatically determine how cars and peds behave, kinda like the TL property and objects in GTA1 did?

Probably best to answer those questions in the path editor thread as that's where modern path discussions would be most useful. smile.gif

Hmmm, i changed only 2IDs and the Filenames, other things like the col is unchanged. About the names, the IPL uses only the ID´s to place objects, the names are only information, so it may be that i didn use correct or complete names of dynamic stuff, i have to fix this in future. I didnt use MooMapper for placing, so i didnt notice this problem before.

ODIE_Laden_nt, ODIE_Laden_dy and ODIE_Leuchten must be placed in the section of "tobj" for day and nightobjects... did you placed it correct ?

OK, on the VERY large roads for car paths, set the wideness to 1 and they will be in 2 lanes on bot sides going in the correct direction...

i m having trouble using this mod cause when i install it and go to play it i see the gta vice city screen then it goes back to the desktop.Can ne one tell me what is wrong.

You can run it with mods already installed, but it's better to have a clean install specifically for it - that way if the game crashes, you'll have a better idea of what might have caused it xmas.gif

It's like everything else going on in the forums. You have to hang around if you want to know what's going down. Us regulars understand what Myriad is about, why you can't yet edit player models in VC, that savegames are useless when you install code, etc. That's actually part of the reason I hung around here prior to joining: I didn't want to get booed off of the stage smile.gif
