Because Zmodeller can't export vertex prelighting, which the game needs to light it. Bribe someone with 3D Studio to do it for you.

And excuse the really really late reply. But it's a pinned topic so it's allowed tounge2.gif

Hey Opius, Wondering if you could update and renew this with all the new information for SA on the object limits etc.
That would be really handy for me to refer to at times when I'm helping people.

Every time I try to duplicate a road or bridge segment to any other part of the map. The game freezes up and crashes on the loading screen.
I don't know what im doing wrong. I see other people succsessfully copy bridges and roads to other places on the gta3 map and their game is perfect..... confused.gif confused.gif bored.gif cry.gif nervous.gif cryani.gif cryani.gif cryani.gif

If anyone knows what the hell I am doing wrong pleas email me

since there is no SA topic(?)

Interesting find for San Andreas IDE and LODs tonight;

It seems that the draw distance of LOD models is relative to where you
begin to see them. When you draw a building 300 units distance, and draw
it's counterpart LOD for 1000 units like so...

CODE

12345, mydff, mytxd, 300, 0
12346, lodmydff, mytxd, 1000, 0

... you in turn end up with an element that draws a total of 1300 units.
The pop in begins the line of sight "counter". lil sunitin' fo the wiki soon.

I have a question about a MooMapper. Can you add custom models to the game using that program? Even the custom map?
