@ GTAuron- Unfortunately, trains won't work in VC. At least that's what one of the programmers told me. Apparently all the code for them was used for the additional planes or something. But it may be possible to muck in something sort of tram-ish via the scm, however that would require someone with more coding skills than me.
@ Inky- Righto, I was just about to go pop in a table of lot registrations. Shall I put that down as The Bunker then, or did you have something else in mind?
@ Steve- A villa would be perfectly okay on the little island if you want. I was thinking it could a sorta fancy mixed commercial/residential mini area. I'll put you down for c2_r10 now, but if you want to switch back, give me a shout. And yea, a magic php site would be just perfect. If I can find time between working on this map, FW, Berlin, and my various web jobs, I'll see what I can do.
Oh yea, I've been playing around with car paths and Odie's beta path script off and on all night, and I've managed to get some vehicles driving around properly. It's less than 1/4 done, and there's some buggy parts still, but there's a number of working roads and intersections- one of which has a functional 4-way traffic light. The path file also has the set of ped paths Cerbera made which circle the whole outter sidewalk. If you'ld like to try it out, download it right here. Just pop it into your data\maps folder, and add these lines into illcom.ipl for the stop lights:
