ok i have came across a minor problem i used steve m's txd builder to create new txd files for some gta3 advertsing boards however in moomapper the textures show up blue..... if i use a model with the original txd it's fine but when i use my custom txd it goes blue suicidal.gif any ideas?

Try rebuilding the txd from scratch? I am having lots of odd TXD problems also sad.gif

it'll look fine in-game. moomapper turns 24 bit textures bluish color in its window. but in-game they are fine.

If it does, maby you need to make the DFF's like this:

<hollow invisible part><point of rotation><visible bridge>

because if you can only rotate objects around their center... you know what I mean. Also, I'm not that good with IDE files. blush.gif

It's like everything else going on in the forums. You have to hang around if you want to know what's going down. Us regulars understand what Myriad is about, why you can't yet edit player models in VC, that savegames are useless when you install code, etc. That's actually part of the reason I hung around here prior to joining: I didn't want to get booed off of the stage smile.gif

Kicking peeps off? Well just to let you know I'm making many an object for this thing, unsure that to use though, I was thinking of combining the dock idea with a small garage forecourt (repairing garage, not a dealers) and use the docks as a sorta drug smuggling thingy, and have a weapons museum (Australian-American war anyone? tounge.gif ) to the front/side of this, with the garage winding round the back of this.

Because of my situation, i.e not net connection at home and no floppy disc upload opportunity, You just gotta beleive me smile.gif I'm also thinking of making my S-37 specifically for this mod smile.gif

And i thought moomapper could create IDE's for ya, cant you use that, if not, i'll try to place them on the map for ya, in an ide, and an ipl

i was wondering if there is a limit to how far down under the gta gaming world you can go? anyone know? in my area i can tell you already what it will contain smile.gif

mini fair with a 30's exhibition in the middle with stalls surrounding it mafia exhibition will contain a car or two from that era, some mafia guns and some info about the mob

a retextured tw@t cafe

some billboards from gta3 with a new advertisement

one or two houses one you can go inside.

something underground like a tunnel leading to gangsta killa's lot next door i'm thinking of an old subway like in max payne just without all that detail...

and that's it! my first map currently it's about 20% done and won't be out till after christmas..... xmas.gif i'll get pictures mabye some tonight or tommorow


EDIT: can i have illcom c6 r2 plz and someone else can have my old lot smile.gif i don't need all that space plus what i am doing dosn't suit being near the sea xmas.gif

Cop missions are always fun. Using the "CARSTUCK_TRIG" and the "IS_PED_STUNNED" features in GTA1, my current code experiments in what you can do with cops seem to be along similar lines to what you've been doing. It's just what I always wanted! tounge.gif

Now I just need a computer to play it on. sad.gif
