ok i have no clue how to edit the object.dat or if my guesses are right OR if this is even what you want but just trying to help (these are the ones i thaught werent needed)

If you haven't got them already, I'll msn them to ya next time I catch you online. And why'd you have to pick the theater? I just saw the suggestion and was about to volunteer for making it myself. Guess I'll do something else then.
@ Punk Noodles- Good job on the list of deletable things. Although I *think* the beachball and swimming stuff (fish, sharks, etc..) is hardcoded into the exe, so removing them might break something. The od_celldoor's are for the jail in the police station (I might reuse one of them if it fits), and the parking meter are found near the VAJ building in the original's north downtown. When you run them over, money pops out. Might be fun to use those too.
This topic is starting to get rather large and confusing now. I suppose it's about time to make a forum for this.

You're right. VC is VC. That's because R* stopped naming by numbers (obviously). If they did continue using numbers, VC would be 4. Different engine means different edition. Not that it matters because it was their game to name and they've chosen it without numbers.

It most certainly is new. Similar, but new. Bikes alone would make it new. And anybody who mods the game at all will realize the tons of differences.

@TRN4L- I have same problem but I delete all illcom files in gta3.img and add new files from v4 & replace gtavc.dat + maps folder
and all ok

Btw. my second Prop is devided by NW and SW but i have to place the datas in ONE Area, cant split my objects.
For the Disco´s Interieur i made a different IPL, IDE, COL
Thats not good, i need 23 (!) ID#´s and there are only eight free behind my prop. so i would only change the IDs for the land and the LOD only and leave the other objects from 4000-4021 + 828 for the PaynSpraydoor (was the original ID) all other will make to much confusion.
